City of Hopkinsville recently issued the following announcement.

The Museums of Historic Hopkinsville-Christian County invites you to pay tribute to world-renowned psychic Edgar Cayce, our community’s most famous son. Join us on March 20-22, 2020 for a weekend of learning, fellowship, and self-discovery at beautiful Pennyrile Forest State Resort Park.

This year, we welcome Peter Woodbury as our featured speaker on From Creation to Revelation. Back by popular demand in Hopkinsville, Peter joins us for his second full seminar weekend. The weekend is packed with a combination of enlightening presentations and special hometown visits and experiences that will make it unlike any other.

In addition to Peter’s programs, the weekend also includes a special dedication to the new exhibition dedicated to Edgar Cayce and his legacy in Hopkinsville in the recently remodeled Pennyroyal Area Museum. Be present for a ribbon cutting ceremony to bless his story and this space. Saturday afternoon will include opportunities to explore downtown Hopkinsville on a self-guided walking tour, to jet out on your own to take the Edgar Cayce Cell Phone Tour, or to visit some of our local shops. The Vault, our Museum Shop, will have complimentary tastings and samples of Cayce-related products, and small group bus tours to Beverly Academy (where Edgar Cayce attended school) and Riverside Cemetery (where Edgar and Gertrude Cayce are both buried) will be available.

Join us at Pennyrile Forest State Resort Park to immerse yourself in the land where Edgar Cayce was born and reared and where he discovered his remarkable gifts that prompted his life's work.
