City of LaFayette issued the following announcement on Jan. 2

The 24th Annual Lafayette Oatmeal Festival is a popular family event focusing on healthy lifestyles. A unique festival including an Oatmeal Breakfast and 5K Walk/Run.

7:30 am - 12:00 pm

Breakfast at Pioneer Elementary | 101 East Baseline Road (only service animals are allowed at the Oatmeal Breakfast )

View details for the race registration and advance breakfast ticket purchaseFree Shuttle: From the Flatirons Community Church, 350 S. Boulder Road.. Shuttle service will run continuously from 7:30 am - 1:30 pm to and from Pioneer Elementary. Parking is limited, please carpool or take the RTD bus (for schedule go to www.rtd-denver.com). 

Road closures: The following streets will be closed to all traffic from appx. 5:30am until 11:30am for the race. If you live on the race route, please move vehicles off the street during this time. Signage will be posted. View the road closure map.

Geneseo from Harrison to Gough

Simpson Street from Harrison to Bermont

Bermont Avenue from Simpson to Emma

Emma Street from Bermont to Caria

Miller Avenue between Simpson and Cleveland

Cleveland Street from Miller to Public
