$62,320-$73,232 Salary Range
Assist the CFO in the City’s financial planning and accounting practices as well as its relationship with lending institutions and the financial community. Responsible for budget preparation, budget administration, financial research & analysis, policy development and implementation, and financial related projects. Assist in the evaluation of department & agency financial proposals and prepare related reports for administrative review.
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field. Minimum of four years’ experience with financial reporting & budget preparation and three year’s supervisory experience. Certification as a Public Accountant (CPA) and thorough knowledge of applicable government accounting & reporting requirements under (GAAP) preferred.

Critical Care Paramedic, Paramedic, AEMT, EMT
$34,490-$47,718 salary range
(Pay based on previous EMS experience and provider level)
The Hopkinsville Fire Department is currently accepting applications for the positions of Critical Care Paramedic, Paramedic, Advanced Emergency Medical Technician, and Emergency Medical Technician.
These positions have the primary responsibility of delivering high quality ALS/BLS patient care to patients treated and transported by Hopkinsville Fire Department’s EMS Division. All positions require a high school diploma or GED, CPR certification, driver’s license, be licensed/certified by Kentucky Board of EMS OR currently registered with National Registry of EMTs. Individuals must be able to move/lift over 100 lbs. on a regular basis.
Shift schedule is 24 hours on/48 hours off, Monday-Sunday. Excellent benefits include health, dental, vision, & life insurance. 7 paid vacation days, 12 paid sick days, and 8 paid floating holidays per year are offered. These are non-hazardous positions for County Employee Retirement System (CERS) purposes.
