This forum is an opportunity for employers to learn about the significant impacts of substance abuse on the workforce and our communities while opening doors to a “Hidden” workforce pipeline. Compelling data will be shared showing the positive attributes of how Fair Chance Employment Transforms Lives, Betters Communities & Strengthens the Workforce.
 
Learn about what it takes to be a fair chance employer and what to expect working with employees on the road to recovery. The forum will provide an opportunity to hear from employers who have transformed their organizations into recovery-friendly workplaces as well as from employees who have been impacted by these employers.
 
Attendees will take from this forum …
o    Knowledge that the state’s addiction epidemic is more than a public health issue; it has become a serious workforce issue and why the Kentucky business community is taking a supportive role.
o    A better understanding of what it takes to transform to become a fair chance employer.
o    Where to turn for resources to take the first step in developing a plan to create a recovery-friendly culture reducing the stigma in the workplace about substance use disorder (SUD).
