Meet our Panelists:

Kate Russell | Hopkinsville Brewing Company

Kate Russell’s military career was cut short due to an injury, however during her service, she worked her way to the 101st Airborne Division’s G2 shop as an intelligence analyst.

Kate is the founder, co-owner, and one of two brewers at Hopkinsville Brewing Company. The brewery opened its original location at 102 E. 5th Street in downtown Hopkinsville in September 2016 with their expansion into the former Upton’s Body Shop next door opening in February 2020. She is the collaboration brew coordinator for the Kentucky chapter of the Pink Boots society and serves on the boards of MEDI and HCCPL.

When she’s not brewing beer, she can be found at her other full-time job – being baseball mom to Bobby (16) and volleyball mom to Maeby (14) – and is pursuing her master’s degree in brewing science and operations through Auburn University
